Dear collaborators/colleagues/friends,

Hall-D RC report for Sunday 28th of November, 2021

  *   Accelerator
     *   well, it looks repetitive, but the accelerator provided a very stable beam (in terms of just normal trips with a maximum beam down of ~20m)
        *
  *   Experiment/Hall
     *   Once again, the data production is going well.
        *   Since the start production on Carbon the total number of triggers (today at 01:00) is ~8.3 B.
     *   Regarding the energy oscillation addressed by Alexandre, this morning at the PD/RC meeting Jay was requested to dig a bit more on it, sadly I lack the knowledge to extract a conclusion from his elog entry --> https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/3951960
     *   Dave M. pointed out a potential issue with the diamond at 45/135 PERP.  I believe that it is not problem for this experiment and definitely not solvable right now, but interesting topic to discuss in the future --> https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/3952039

        *   Perhaps you think it is a bit redundant since the RCDB is available, but it helps our students for fast cross checks of the runs.

  *   Run Plan
     *   run on carbon at 150nA
     *   run 250M events or 2h (rates are quite close to those in He, so 2h should be enough)
     *   rotate radiators 0/90, 45/135 in PARA and PERP configuration (both)
     *   DO NOT TOUCH/CHANGE ANYTHING SENSIBLE THAT COULD NEED THE CALL OF TECHNICIANS!!!  <-- on Monday, tomorrow, we can start to play again

RC MEETING:

ERRATUM:

Yesterday I reported that the beam was down ~1h starting at 11:40. That situation happened on Friday and not on Saturday. Just to have correct info.
