[Halld] Proposal for Photo-nuclear Measurements of Short-Range Correlations

Dear Hall D and GlueX collaborators,
I would like to let you know about a Hall D proposal that will be submitted in a few days to PAC, which is an extension of the Short-Range Correlations Experiment (E12-19-003). The proposal requests 100 PAC days on helium-4, to further study short-range correlations, search for three-nucleon correlations, and explore other topics including J/Psi photo-production on bound nucleons. You can read a draft of the proposal attached in this message.

As with the previous SRC Experiment, this proposal will not be a GlueX proposal, but rather a stand-alone Hall D proposal. That being said, anyone in GlueX, or beyond is welcome and invited to sign on to the proposal, and we gladly welcome collaborators with all kinds of interests and areas of expertise.
