As a special event at the Hall A Collaboration meeting, we would like to invite you to a presentation by Prof. Frank Close (from Oxford University) on his latest book titled, “ Elusive - How Peter Higgs Solved the Mystery of Mass”. This event is scheduled to take place from 1:00 - 2:00 PM EST on Jan 17th, 2024, which is the second day of the Hall A Collaboration meeting. Frank has written a variety of fantastic books on nuclear and particle physics on topics ranging from the "Introduction to quarks and partons”, "Half-Life - The Divided Life of Bruno Pontecorvo, Physicist or Spy?”, to “Nothing”.
