[Halld] [EXTERNAL] End of the Run Priorities

Hello everyone,

The repairs for the arc will begin today, but they will take a long time. During the RC meeting, we discussed the priorities and a tentative schedule for the last few days of the run:


  *
 The first priority is to run in production mode after the Wein angle change. This is currently scheduled for Thursday, but there is some flexibility in case the beam takes longer to arrive.
  *
 The second priority will be the High Intensity Scan. This study might be shortened to only study the trigger thresholds and ECAL performance at high rates. If we are lucky and the beam is back before Thursday, we might be able to squeeze it before the Wien angle change. Otherwise, we will use a single shift between Sunday and Monday. One thing to mention is that it will be Labor Day weekend.

On Wednesday, we have maintenance day, and it will begin at 6:30 am. We plan to set the hall on restricted access

We will try to squeeze the TAC run on Monday.

On Tuesday's Day shift, we will ramp down the magnet to prepare for the straight track and Campton runs.

The accelerator will enter SAM on Wednesday, September 3rd, at 7:00 am.
