Hi,

After some discussion over the weekend on the impact of a 2 week shutdown
on lab activities, it was decided that maintenance of the substations will
be staged.  As a result, the building housing all scientific computing will
remain on and  *all computing services will be available *during the SLAC
winter shutdown.
