[Hps] HPS starts, no RC meeting today

Dear all,

We will not have RC meeting today, not much was accomplished over the past few days. The biggest achievement was establishing a very high quality 1-pass beam for HPS last night (after correcting settings of the steering magnets on the Hall-B line). Unfortunately, right when we were getting ready to turn ON detectors, LCW event happened in the south linac service building, burst pipe, that knocked out the power, a lot of LCW was lost and we of course lost the machine. The system is still recovering from that. Currently machine is in controlled access everywhere, maintenance day. We expect restoration of the machine start end of day shift, beam for physics by midnight.

As stated yesterday, Hall-B day shift is canceled. Swing shift today will start at 6pm (EDT).
