[Hps] [Jlab-scicomp-briefs] JLab Tape Library outage - Dec 6 2022

This afternoon a robotics failure in the tape library idled the system. An incident was opened with the service provider and the technician arrived on-site this evening to diagnose the problem. Parts for the repair are being shipped overnight from the manufacturer.

Until the repair work is completed farm and LQCD cluster jobs that require input from tape will queue. Jobs that are able to run from disk alone will continue to be scheduled. Data from running experiments in the halls will be buffered on disk.

We anticipate the parts delivery tomorrow morning, and will provide an update mid-day.
