[Isotope-prod] White Paper on Isotope Production

I am attaching our White Paper on Isotope Production at the Jefferson Lab LERF Facility.  We have concluded that we have a viable process for producing Cu67 at a cost of $3.1K/mCi based on 10 runs per year, including onetime costs.  Our method is based on a (γ, n) reaction starting from Gallium as the target material.  We believe that the chemical separation of Cu67 should provide a significantly higher specific activity than other production methods.  

Our collaboration with VCU and SDSMT has been very effective and we look forward to continuing our work together.  Specifically, the VCU Center for Molecular Imaging, a group that has considerable expertise in chemical separation of isotopes, has agreed to partner with us for the proposed production runs.
