I have communicated with Danny See copied message.
We need to complete this weeks round. Which is probably best done on
Monday the
coming week.
All matches completing 8 holes of golf can submit their scorecards
without playing again.
Those who played fewer than 8 holes must replay the 9 holes. If a
substitute is needed it must
be from the players who did not play a completed match and not from the
same team as the opponent.
If you have turned in a card from July 19 with 8 or 9 holes on it then
you may not play in a make up match
on this coming Monday or on the day in which you make up your match.
As usual anyone who wishes to play for practice may do so.
This From Jlab Golf League Rules.
Here's the rule -
6. Rainouts/Lightning/Tornado/Hurricane
i. On rainy days the league will attempt to cancel by 3 p.m. the
afternoon of the match. If possible, cancellations will be posted on the
website. Notification by email will be sent as soon as practically possible.
ii. IF YOU HAVE NOT HEARD FROM ANYONE, DO NOT CALL THE LEAGUE ORGANIZERS
- ASSUME THE MATCH PLAY IS ON!
/ //iii. //If rain prohibits the completion of play, partial scores will
not be counted. Match play that does complete will count. Eight holes
must be played to be considered a complete match (see provision below).
Also, you cannot play just the remaining holes (even if the course
allows it). You must start at the first tee. Incomplete matches may be
rescheduled to be played on the scheduled rain dates depending upon the
number of incomplete matches. A player cannot play twice in the same
match (this needed to be stipulated because individual matches can occur
on separate nights). Any scenarios that do no meet these guidelines will
be resolved by the Rules Committee./
/ iv. There is a provision for darkness *and rain*. If you complete 8
holes and it is too dark (or too wet) to finish the 9th hole, the
foursome can option not to play the 9th hole. Upon doing so, one of the
other holes will be randomly selected and the scores of that hole will
be used. A different hole would be selected each night of play. The hole
selection will be picked out of a hat the next day by the organizer of
the league./
For those who completed exactly 8 holes and wish not to play a make up
round, read on!
The missing last hole will be scored the same as a selected prior hole
of the same par
as the last hole. If it is a par 4 then a random drawing for the entire
league will determine which
par 4 hole is selected.
A random hole was selected by by picking one slip, from four numbered
1,2,3, and 4, out of hat.
Cardinal par 4's 1,3,4,6,9 (draw #1=h1, #2=h3, #3=h4, #4=h6)
Deer Run par 4,s 1,2,4,7,9 (draw #1=h1, #2=h2, #3=h4, #4=h6 )
Drawn Number was #2
which is hole 3 on The Cardinal
and hole 2 on Deer Run
