Attention Mailing list Owners
You are receiving this email because you are the owner of one
or more mailing list at Jefferson Lab.
You may or may not be aware that you are the owner of a mailing list.
Mailing lists at Jefferson Lab are now implemented with a tool
called Mailman. Mailman is a widely used replacement for our
old system, majordomo.
Instructions for how to manage your Mailman Mailing list are found at:
http://cc.jlab.org/services/email/ListAdmin.html
Most lists require a password to logon to the administrative pages.
This is NOT your password. If you do not know the list password,
you can call the helpdesk (7155) and they can look it up for you.
You can find out what lists you own by using the search button on:
https://mailman.jlab.org/info.php
Note that the location of web based archives of postings to lists has
changed.
The starting point to get to all information for lists, including web
based archives,
is at:
https://mailman.jlab.org/
If your lists have been archived in the past, you may wish to post a
message to your list, informing the list members that the location of the
archive has switched to mailman. Only new postings will go to this area.
The old archives will remain in place but frozen with no new messages
being added to them.
Instructions for list members (such as how to remove yourself from a
list) are at:
http://cc.jlab.org/services/email/MailmanInstructions.html
