"Realistic Transverse Images of the Nucleon" *

Electromagnetic form factors probe charge and magnetization densities of 
hadrons and nuclei. I will argue that traditional three-dimensional 
Fourier transforms are not applicable for systems with relativistically 
moving constituents, but that using the transverse charge density is a 
rigorous way to analyze electromagnetic form factors. The talk will 
discuss the meaning of the transverse charge density and existing 
results for the nucleon. The very precise data measured here allows us 
to determine the uncertainties on the transverse charge and 
magnetization densities.
