/"Nucleon Structure: An Awesome Puzzle"/

Abstract//

Normal matter makes up just few percent of the Universe today but it is
what we are made of. The normal matter puzzle has not been solved yet
and the challenge is to connect few elementary constituents and
interactions to the world as we know it in its complexity. In this talk
I will focus on the strongly interacting matter puzzle with emphasis on
the nucleon structure. In particular, I will discuss the experimental
program at Jefferson Lab that probes the nucleon in the elastic and
inelastic scattering regimes to provide precision extractions of
nucleon's form factors and parton distribution functions. These physical
objects can in turn be used to understand the dynamics by which quarks
and gluons come together to manifest as detectable hadrons.
