Dark Sector Science in 2019


Abstract:


This talk will describe the motivation for dark photons in the broader context of dark matter, and summarize several of the most promising experimental efforts to discover dark sector physics in 2019 and beyond. Special emphasis is given to APEX and HPS, both of which are expected to collect new and important data in the coming months that can shed light on how dark matter may interact with electrons and other forms of matter.
