Strange light meson spectroscopy and scattering. Where do we stand?

Abstract:

I will provide an overview of the present status of the properties and nature of strange resonances below 1.5 GeV, as observed from  pion-kaon scattering,

which is one of the main sources of information for these resonances.

I will concentrate on recent model-independent dispersive analyses and unitarized effective field theory approaches and discuss the relevance for this topic of the

planned KLF facility at JLab.
