Please join us for the 2018 Jefferson Lab Users Group Annual Meeting,
June 18-20th.
Early registration closes tomorrow. Register now for lower cost!
The theme of this year's program is "From JLab 12 GeV to the EIC". The
program includes a variety of physics talks, presentations from the User
Group Board, laboratory management and funding agencies, and Prize
winners. Featured speakers will include: A. Aprahamian; Imaging: M.
Diehl, H. Gao, C. Hyde; QCD in nuclei: T. Mineeva, A. Schmidt, C. Weiss;
Spectroscopy: S. Dobb, T. Skwarnicki, D. Wilson.
We particularly encourage graduate students to attend. Student
registration fees will be waived, courtesy of the Jefferson Science
Associates Initiatives Fund. There will be special graduate student
lunch discussions each day with food provided.
The poster competition continues, with a first prize of $500, a second
prize of $250, and a third prize of $100. Each winner will additionally
receive $500 in travel support to present their work at a meeting of
their choice. The deadline for poster competition abstracts is Friday,
June 8, 2018 (email to: lorelei at jlab.org

you do not enter!
The Users Group Board of Directors will meet on the evenings of June
19th and 20th. If you have comments, questions, or issues to be raised
at the meeting, please notify one of the board members.
