[Lad_hallc] Summary of activities and next steps

Dear LADers,

Since Florian is still on holidays, I don't think we will have the regular Monday's LAD meeting , so here is a brief summary of LAD status (from what I can report).

last week, Hall C technicians placed the wall 01-00 (central front) in place, moved 01-01 into the hall and 00-00 ( right front) at ESB floor. Today, Sunday, Lucas and I tested 01-01 simply with the oscilloscope and except 44L (bottom), all seem to be in good shape. Since the faulty one is on bottom, I am not worried to rush to change the base, since I can do it in place.

After this email, I wil write Jerry Nines to confirm that they can proceed to place 01-01 in the stand and safe the wall 01 with 02. Florian already wrote to Jerry in order to cable the wall 01 on Wednesday (but Florian needs to coordinate the times with the technicians. not just the day. We are under technicians rule about timing).

With respect to wall 00, the stand is not in place yet, so I am assuming that anything related with wall 00 is postponed to next week.

So, tomorrow the lab is closed due to weather alert. If we are lucky, they can put the wall 01 in position on Tuesday. Florian cable top of the wall on Wednesday. And we will wait to have the stand attached to the floor, waiting for good weather to move the two walls, check them and install them. WIth luck, probably, end of next week, LAD will be fully installed. Very good luck, early next week.

I noticed that in order to place 01-01, is not as simple to put closer to the one in front, but needs to be moved from right to keft. This is due to the overlap with 02-00. The space is very tight and I feel the operation will be very delicate. I know is late saying this, but I think the correct assembly order should be first the central walls, and then the left and right... now it is just an anecdote.

I don't know if it was before holiday break, but the GEM frame is in the hall (picture. by Lucas, attached)

Also, I think the target ladder is done (picture attached)

As many of you know, the campus will be close tomorrow.
