[Lowq] Run conditions

Dear all,
as you probably know, we are having a very hard time to get a good
quality beam at 1.2 GeV.
We are currently running at 50nA, Torus=1900A, with a 3-4% occupancy in
the DC (1.5kHz, 95%LT) being the limiting factor the DC trips and occupancy.
Acc is working on our beam (probably) but if they do not succeed in
providing a better beam we
have to decide if this is a sustainable condition or if we want to
change it.
There is probably a little room to increase the current (may be at 70nA)
but we can certainly reduce it.

To take the right decision we would need:
- 1) to understand if data collected tonite are valuable
- 2) to have the projected accumulated statistics for elastic events
assuming the run conditions we have now
Could you please cook run 61935 and circulate what you found?

As the last resource, MCC suggested a major investigation in the 1-pass
extraction line
that would require (at least) 1 day of work (and we are close to the
weekend ...).

Cheers
Marco
