[lqcd-users] JLab LQCD Cluster Update

Today's monthly maintenance included the following updates and changes to LQCD clusters:


  *   Slurm was upgraded to version 20 on all clusters: 21g, 19g, 18p, and 16p.
  *   A configuration change was made to increase write performance to /work and /home from 21g systems
  *   All 21g nodes were rebuilt to what is anticipated to be the production configuration.
     *   Note: When submitting jobs on 21g, please specify "--gres=gpu:8" (for example) if your job requires all eight GPUs.
  *   There are now two interactive nodes for 21g. Both have operating system and software installations that match the 21g worker nodes. The two interactive nodes are:
     *   qcdi2001, which has four AMD MI50 GPUs and Intel CPUs
     *   qcdi2002, which has four AMD MI50 GPUs and AMD CPUs
