We're in good shape for Run II...
1. Yesterday Riad said the polarimeter and calibrations are complete, ready to go. He'll update the check list with ELOG #'s so we can refer back to them if needed.
2. Daniel and I calibrated the BPM positions we use measuring beam momentum, then lowered energy to KE=5 MeV and tested process/procedures indicating we're in the ~1% ball park of 5.49 MeV/c. We have a good save of this setup to recall and use later. We tested and collected beam profile for the energy spread measurement and started testing the settings for emittance measurement before a non-Mott related computer crashed. When recovered Daniel found a software bug and that's since been corrected, but I think we're in a good position to repeat this measurement.
3. We found the chopper setup didn't look quite right, so tonight Yan will investigate and nominally complete the setup.
4. Thursday SWING is available for tests if needed.
5. Starting on Friday:
a) Machine lock-up in the AM
b) Recover KE=5 MeV, measure momentum, emittance, energy spread (record for posterity)
c) Define 0L02-8 gradients for energy offsets +/- 200, +/- 400 keV and measure momentum (record for posterity)
d) Let's meet at 4pm in MCC discuss status, work out plans on white board
6. The high gradient testing in 0L03 will occur from Friday ~noon and will likely last for 1-2 shifts. We'll plan for success, but there is the possibility that Friday SWING or Saturday OWL is interrupted. It is likely we are uninterrupted from Saturday DAY through remainder of weekend.
