All,

Attached are updated Mott figures using and comparing new energy cut ranges and background subtraction methodology, also, an explanation for how I am doing the background subtraction is attached in BackgroundSubtractionInMottAnalysis.pdf (open office kept crashing when I tried to make it a .docx). Note that the half-sigma energy slice plots in the last few pages are for Run2 data only.

For all 8 cases -- Run1 and Run2, energy cut from -0.5 to +2 sigma (M0.5P2) and from -1 to +3 sigma (M1P3), background subtraction and no background subtraction (2x2x2 = 8)-- rates and asymmetry are in the attached spreadsheet. Re-run asymmetry vs thickness using A_0 / ( 1 + lambda * t) fit form are attached in the word document -- first is a summary table with the fit parameters, reduced chi-squared and polarization for all 8 cases followed by individual case plots. Used the standard microsoft office formats for these files.

I'll speak more about this data at next weeks meeting and once the wiki is back up get these documents on there.
