Dear Wassim,

Very nice paper!

Some suggestions below:
A. Tadepalli -> A.S. Tadepalli
Line 95: PbWO -> PbWO4
Figure 2 caption: NPS + HMS structure in HALL C -> NPS calorimeter + HMS spectrometer in Hall C or NPS + HMS structure in Hall C
Line 122: stable within -> stable to within
Line 146: reference shapes, who obey -> reference shapes, which obey
Line 147: Highest -> highest
Line 171: figure 5 -> Figure 5
Line 173: particle time flight -> particle time of flight
Line 249: nine elastic setting data -> data from nine elastic settings
Equation 11: Should the third term have a + or is the + missing a circle around it? What are the errors in all the three terms?
Figure 9: A follow up tho the email previously sent:

  * Are the three consecutive settings (red empty squares) indicated in Table 1 of the paper? What about the open squares and black circles? Which settings do they correspond to in Table 1? But table 1 has a total of 2 + 2 + 5 settings and seems like you used only 6 of the settings for the parameterization.
  * What are the black circles? Are they used in the fit or are they not optimal?

Figure 11: What does the red line correspond to?
You may want to create a “References” section right after Conclusions and before the actual references.

Best regards,

Arun

Hi Wassim,

The paper looks good to me, I have the following comments:

  1. You have Hamlet Mkrtchyan twice in authors list (like Charles comment, and it might be already addressed)
  2. It seems to me (maybe I’m wrong) there is some different font formats used in some places eg line 4-5
  3. For Figure 4. I suggest using “The red-starred samples …” instead of “The eleven highlighted samples…”.
  4. And instead of “Jefferson Lab” use “Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility”

Thank you,

Arshak

Wassim,
Very nice paper. I will post some typographic suggestions on elog.
In the meantime, please look over the author list/affiliations carefully.
I think things tend to get scrambled with each edit.

Here are my corrections:

Carlos Ayerbe Gayoso is at ODU.
Tanja Horn is at CUA (Maybe also JLab)
I am at ODU (not Illinois)
Please ask Wenliang Li (B.Li) how he wants his name and affiliation listed (he joined Mississippi in the middle of experiment).
Holly Szumila-Vance is at Florida International University
Steve Wood is affiliated with Old Dominion University
You have two entries for Z.Ye, one listed at ODU. This doesn't seem correct to me.

Sincerely,
