Please have a look to the abstract submission call from the conveners of
the "Spin and 3D Structure" session in DIS2018 workshop that will be held
in Kobe, Japan from 16 to 20 April 2018.
The deadline for the CLAS speakers abstract submission is Jan. 8, 2018. If
you are interested to participate please notify CSC to nominate your talks
to this session conveners.

We are the conveners of Working Group on Spin and 3D Structure (#6).

On this occasion, we also like to inform you about the early abstract
submission procedure for large experiments. Abstract submission
for the parallel sessions is prepared on the CERN indico system,

The deadline for abstract submission is officially 2 February 2018.
We are aware that it may be difficult for the large collaborations
to find speakers for this conference if the talks are accepted
only by mid February. For this reason, we are proposing the following
procedure to ensure that the most important abstracts can be
processed earlier.

* the large experiments submit their abstracts through the above indico
  interface by 8 January 2018 for the early submission.

* In addition, large experiments send E-mails of list of talks
  that should be given priority to be accepted. The emails should be
  addressed to the W6 session DIS2018-conveners-WG6 at cern.ch

* the DIS18 session conveners will start to select talks from these
  abstracts in January, such that large collaborations are
  informed about many of the accepted talks at around 20th of January.

  Note: it may not be possible to give definite answers on
  all submitted abstracts by around 20th of January,
  because we may have to wait for the end of the regular
  abstract submission depending on the number of abstracts we receive
  from large collaborations.

* all DIS abstracts will be finally decided by mid of February.
