       Jefferson Lab's weather team has met and is monitoring forecasted 
weather conditions with the approach of Hurricane Earl. No actions are 
being taken at this time, but the weather team will continue to evaluate 
the situation.

JLab is operating as usual. As always, if the lab's status should 
change, you will be notified via the emergency communication system. Any 
change in the lab's status also will be posted using the following 
communication tools:

--- Call (757) 269-7100 or (757) 234-6236 for recorded information.

--- Visit the Jefferson Lab website: www.jlab.org <http://www.jlab.org>

--- Check your JLab E -Mail Account and JLab pager

--- Check your home phone voicemail: JLab may send a recorded message to 
your JLab-registered home phone number via a service called Connect.Gov.

--- Tune in to the following television or radio stations to check the 
closing and delayed opening announcements. Public Affairs cannot 
guarantee these posting or how quickly they are updated.
