[On_site_list] 6 GeV End of Era Party is Wed.; Volunteers Needed to Help Out

The Jefferson Activities Group is planning an End of the 6 GeV Era 
Celebration for Jefferson Lab staff, students and users on Wednesday, 
June 6, from 3:30 -- 6 p.m. on the SURA Residence Facility field -- rain 
or shine.

The event starts at the end of the annual JLab Users Group Meeting and 
Workshop; and will include food and drink (hamburgers, hot dogs, 
barbeque with all the fixings, hummus, veggies, rolls, watermelon, cake 
and assorted beverages), music and field games (corn hole, ladder golf 
and soccer).

Come celebrate the end of the 6 GeV era, and the dawning of 12 GeV, at 
Jefferson Lab! Join us in commemorating the many successes of the 6 GeV 
program!

Volunteers are needed to help with a variety of tasks, including field 
set up, food preparation and service, beverage service, tear down and 
clean up. A dozen volunteer positions still need to be filled. Just one 
or two hours of your time means so much; if you haven't yet, please sign 
up to help.

Much of the event, including seating, will be under tents, but in case 
of pop-up showers, you might want to bring your umbrella and wear shoes 
you don't mind getting wet.
