I will be in Japan with Jacob…
Probably it would have been better if FNAL had come a week when everyone was here, but I’m assuming too late to change now. I can discuss with Tug at FNAL next week.

Hi John
Katherine actually did a paper on L2 Lessons Learned , where she used the materials that we provided to her from n analysis of the component problems plus integrated other information as well .
So far we have not shared her paper with anyone outside of JLAB (at Katherine’s request) – so I am wondering if she would be the better POC on this topic anyway ?
As mentioned already both Jacob and I will be out that week

Chris & Dan,
Some engineers and technicians are planning a visit to SRF on the 4th & 5th of March (ref email below). The purpose for the visit is to look at how the 1.3GHz (LCLS-II) CM’s are manufactured in preparation for the LCLS-II-HE production run next year.
Chris,
Do you have someone who would be available to discuss how we do the alignment of the LCLS-II CM’s?
Dan,
Both Jacob and Anne are out of the office during this visit; are you available to discuss the QA aspects and lessons learned from the LCLS-II?
Tony & Kirk,
This visit will require a significant portion of John & Danny’s time during this visit.
Thanks,
John

Tug & Brian,
We have reserved a conference room for the 4th and 5th of March so it is available as office/meeting space as needed. We have identified the POC’s as listed below. It would be helpful for us to have an agenda or list of topics to be addressed to ensure the visit is as productive as possible. Unfortunately, our SRF QA staff is out of the office during this time. I will look to see if one of our other QA staff are available.
POC:
· Brian Hartsell – J Hogan
· Damon Bice – D Forehand
· Chuck Grimm – J Fischer
· Yuriy Pischalnikov – D Forehand
· Chuck Wilson – J Fischer
· Ryan Thiede – J Fischer
· Jamie Blowers – J Hogan
We have new security rules and you will be receiving an email notification with instructions on how to register as a visit for this visit.
Thanks,
John

Hi John,
Brian Hartsell, our project engineer for LCLS-II-HE kindly agreed to organize and plan the details for this visit. Let’s pencil down March 4-5 for the dates.
Can you please suggest a name from JLab to be the direct host and contact for Brian?
Thanks

John,
We agree for timing before the vCM PRR but unfortunately month of February is very busy with business trips.
The critical needed Fermilab personnel will not be available until the beginning of March. I propose a visit on March 3th week. Probably 1 day visit is sufficient. What about March 4 Wednesday and possibly continue to March 5 Thursday morning?
Proposed Fermilab attendees:
Josh Kaluzny: CAM
Damon Bice: cleanroom
Chuck Grimm CM assembly
Ken Premo: FPC
Yuriy Pischalnikov (tuner system)
Virgil Bocean (alignment)
Jamie Blowers (QA/QC, travelers, procedures)
Shall we start planning accordingly?
Thanks,
Tug

Tug & Chuck,
I think we need to make this visit before the review at the end of the month.
Can we make this happen?
Thanks,
John

I think a 1-2 day visit to JLAB would be most helpful, I know this month is tight due to other travels, maybe early March? What do others thinks?

Hi John F., Danny,
Chuck, Damon and I will be in touch to understand the details of what we need at Fermilab to leave the LCLS-II-HE CM beamline under vacuum (actively pumping) during cold mass assembly outside of the cleanroom
Please my below e-mail.
