Subject: Summary from P1 Traveler Meeting 21Sep2020

Hello Tony

We made some progress, however will need another meeting to resolve the remaining travelers.

It would be great if you still want to call the next meeting on the P1 Travelers (I had been unaware until today that that you might be setting up a meeting) - Please let Valerie & myself know how you want to handle this

This meeting mainly focused on the Inspection and higher priority travelers as we only had an hour for discussion

1. Windows & Wave Guides (Critical Path) – took the first half of the meeting . A new plan was agreed on how to handle the travelers for the windows and WG .

- Windows (Scott) will use a new traveler based on C100R since any spares will end up on C100R in future – Scott will use the P1 Weldment Traveler to summarize which ones end up in P1 (eliminates two travelers in P1)

- Wave Guides (Liang) (Primary & Secondary ) Liang is already reviewing and will follow up with any needed changes on these two travelers

2. String Assembly (starts in 8 weeks) – Kurt Macha reviewed the F100 String assembly traveler in the meeting and felt it would be acceptable – he noted leak check was included in this traveler so the separate leak check traveler has been eliminated

3. RF Incoming Inspection has been transferred to Roland from Danny (confirmed with Kirk) , Valerie will send him the traveler , and Roland will confirm if the F100 Traveler is acceptable – if so it will go out for signature

4. VTA Test Traveler – Kirk Davis said it is being reviewed right now by Tom Powers

5. Chemistry Traveler (Ashely) said she would review and get it returned so it can go for signature

Other decisions : Indium Removal Procedure won’t be added to any travelers in this project , however may be added to disassembly travelers for future projects as needed

We already have a cavity traveler P1-INSP-HELV – so fortunately have a place where the data on the cavities is being collected

We realize that there are many demands on everyone’s time, however there will still be a lot of work to be done. Could you let us know if you will be calling the next meeting on the travelers for P1 , or how you would like this handled.

Thanks Anne
