[Pansophy] OSP for use of Maurer demagnetizer

Pansophy Team,

John has asked that we add a step for looking at a couple parts that were missing for the initial cavities.  For now, I've removed the version in the Ready for Approvals folder.  I'll get the file ready with John's additions and reloaded later today.  I'll send out another email when the file is ready to be sent out for approval.

Attached is a draft R4 for the CMM traveler.  I added the OSP to the Docushare folder (Traveler referenced files).  I added the document title and hyperlink to the Traveler's references.  I also added file upload boxes to steps 5 and 6 (which is page 4 and 5 in Pansophy).  I put some words in the Reasons for Change on the cover sheet for R4, but please feel free to revise as needed to accurately reflect the change you will make to step 6.  After you have made the changes, either you can upload it to Docushare Ready for Approvals folder, or just send the draft back to me and I'll get it uploaded.

If you make page 4 revision and send me the file, I will revise page 5/step 6 with the addition of the OSP and wording on when to use the Maurer demagnetizer.

2)Page 5 mentions using the Helmholtz coil currently in cmm room, but nothing states using the Maurer in the Annex inventory area. I agree with Gary it would be helpful to note that process step also on page 5 please.

Everything else in traveler looks good to me.

Now that you've used the L2HE Cavity Inspection traveler a couple times, are there any changes needed?  I can draft the traveler revision to include the link to the procedure Gary provided, but if there are any changes / corrections to the traveler that you have identified, let's do all the changes with only one revision.

All,

Please see attached OSP on use of the Maurer demagnetizer that currently sits near the SRF inventory area. Especially please pay attention to step 12 List the Steps Required to Execute the Procedure: from start to finish. The demagnetizer can be set up to run in two modes, depending on what is being demagnetized. To switch between the two modes, you need to use a coil transportation cart.

If you have any questions regarding the OSP, please let me know.

Tiffany, I forgot to include this OSP and some words about cavity Ti-SS transition joint degaussing in the L2HE-INSP-CAV traveler. Please let me know when you plan to revise the traveler, maybe not solely for this reason.
