Hi Valerie -

sometimes Erik does have computers available - so we should ask  (this was how I was able to get the computer for the CMM room last year - not fancy , but does the job) . Failing this we would need to ask Erik to give a quote  for the additional computers we need .

Just a reminder that Jacob had already offered his desk top (he is only using his lap top, and has his work station now set up with a docking station)

Tony will be wanting a cost estimate of the SW that must be purchased , and licenses that must be renewed , luckily we start a new fiscal year in 2 weeks

Anne / Tony,

With using students so often it is becoming difficult to locate machines and I just sent an email requesting to "borrow" a machine for a couple hours each week for a student. This is what I have so far:

SRFSTUDENT2 - An Nguyen (CCI / Fall '21)
SRFSTUDENT3 - Sabrina Wang (CCI / Fall '21)
SRFGEORGED1 - Abdulla Mamun (CCI / Fall '21)
SRFASHLEYA1 - Yunseo Chung (HS / Sep '21 - May '22)
??? - Paul Kelemen (HS / Sep '21 - May '22)
??? - David Parham (Contractor, begins Oct 4th)

Ideally I would like Paul to work on SRFSTUDENT3, which is in Jacob's office since Paul will work on the QMS documents.
However, software is the problem:
SRFSTUDENT2: Dreamweaver (CS6), SQL Developer
SRFSTUDENT3: Dreamweaver (CS6)
SRFASHLEYA1: SQL Developer
SRFGEORGED1: nada
The students will need Dreamweaver and SQL Developer to do their tasks.
Paul will need Adobe Pro DC w/signing

1.     We have a very old version of Dreamweaver (2014). I have requested a quote (Renee Carter is looking) to get our licenses up-to-date.

2.     I can ask David Sheppard to install SQL Developer on the machines.

3.     SRFOPS currently has 5 Adobe Pro DC license, which are all being used.
a.     We will have to take one away from somebody to give Paul Kelemen access to help Jacob. And that means he needs to have a machine and Adobe account to activate.
b.     These licenses will need to be renewed in December '21
4.     Purchase a computer for Contractor
a.     What options do we have? Erik does not have any "freebies" so we would have to order something.  Laptop/Tower?
b.     Would need to install software (Dreamweaver / SQL Developer). I'm not sure if we can get a license for him to install on a personal computer, but he would still need access to the secured fileserver (MFA)



Any help in these areas are appreciated, but I did want to keep you informed on problems and progress.
