[Pansophy] SRF email list(s) - Communication between Admin and Software Group

Betty / Betsy,

I am trying to figure out the best way to keep the SRF email list(s) up-to-date as well as the areas that we, the software group, need to keep up-to-date.

Example: We just received a request for a new employee Alex Castilla-Loeza (acastill at jlab.org<mailto:acastill at jlab.org>).

I work with the computer center to get him into the correct groups for M:drive access.
And grant access to Pansophy and DocuShare areas that we oversee.

What would be a good way to let you know when an employee starts and/or exits?
The reason I ask it this way is that all access/permissions need to be undone when someone leaves SRF
and often you know before we (Software Group) know.

Should we take a look at the "current" SRF email lists and get them up-to-date?
Then let us know what works best for you to better communicate with each other?

I have included Tony and Bob on this email so they can weigh in on what mechanism(s) they would like to use.
Below is a snapshot of some of the groups in use in SRF for M:drive and O:drive.
There are many names (in Red) who no longer work in SRF.
