Hi Valerie,
Thank you! No worries. I understand. I agree with you the TRs/CAMs should plan ahead and communicate effectively and more efficiently to eliminate a lot of the serial number issues. Also, the CAMS and TRs should have up-to-date travelers in place before the parts arrive in the inspection room. I must admit I'm bit confused on responsibilities for this particular traveler... C100R-CAV-INSP-WGD-RCYC. Should Scott be doing Rev change? Rev 1 shows Scott Williams as author and Ari Palczewski as reviewer. Also, Kirk Davis is shown as project manager. Is it okay for me to update names? I believe Tiffany Ganey is now project manager. I updated Rev 2 with necessary changes and it is in the new format now. Please let me know if I missed anything. Attached is copy I updated. I believe it is ready for approval, but I wasn't quite sure about updating any names. No need to apologize. I appreciate you and the pansophy team. Hope you have a great weekend!
Thanks again,
Aaron

Aaron / Earl,
I am sorry about this.
This was directed to Anne whom, according to Tony, is suppose to be doing this since she is assigned as the Inspection Work Center Lead.
Also, I want to apologize if you two feel we have been rough on you requests for adding serial numbers.
We are pushing back on the TR’s and CAM’s to do their job and get those numbers into the system BEFORE they go for inspection.
It will take time to make a new groove but we are working on it.
Please let us know if there is a way we can help get these “things” out of your area of responsibility and put them back where they belong.
I’m also working with Phil and Inventory as they are having the same problem with TRs/CAMs not letting them know when to expect shipments, nor the SN nomenclature to expect, making the workload very much like a roller coaster too.
Also, we are working on some simple forms to requests, like SNs, as they sometimes get lost in our mountain of emails to pansophy.
I do apologize for making you feel like we don’t appreciate you both!

Hi all,
Okay. Sounds good. I'll get this into the new template and update field names to revert back to field names from Rev 1.
Thanks,
Aaron

Anne and Scott,
The Pansophy Team is sending the C100R-CAV-INSP-WGD-RCYC-R2 traveler back to you for corrections.
Anne – as Inspection Work Center Lead and
Scott – as the responsible SME for WGDs
You need to correct this traveler and review for accuracy and completion.
Several things will not allow this traveler to be processed through our system
1. The traveler is in the old template, which you can tell by the NCR Emails section replacing the NCR Informative, Dispositioner, and D3 Emails sections.
2. The emails had spaces between them which is not allowed, but they were removed them while reviewing.
3. Fieldnames have been modified from R1, if you compare the new revision to the previous, the fieldnames have been altered. For the sake of datamining, they need to be reverted back to their previous iterations.
4. There were a large number of double spaces in the traveler. As a reminder, double spaces will show up as error symbols in pansophy. These have been removed in the attached document, but it is something to look out for.
Our current code is unable to upload travelers this traveler.
It will need to be transferred into the current template and the above corrections made before routing for approval.
If you have any questions, please send them to pansophy at jlab.org<mailto:pansophy at jlab.org>.
Thank you for your time,
Valerie Bookwalter
