Hi Anne,

Ability fabricated the thermal shields and then sent them to Meyer to be added to the Spaceframe Thermal Shield Assembly. Meyer performed the inspection of each thermal shield per our traveler. Therefore, we are not performing an inspection of the thermal shields.

I noticed just now there is a Thermal Shield Inspection traveler for PPU that has never been used



IN the meantime, Phil & I  just looked at the space frame #2 just delivered, and saw that the thermal shield is already installed on the Space Frame . , which leaves me wondering if the separate traveler for the Thermal Shield Traveler  was meant to be obsoleted  since it appears that the supplier is doing the installation  ?



I have attached a down load of both travelers (Space Frame traveler was filled out for SN 004)



Could you let me know your comments   ?
