Hi Valerie

I attempted to create a folder in the Projects folder  however I am not authorized to up load documents in this area – so once your hand has healed, could you please put these documents into that folder – I noticed that someone (A nickels) had up loaded the CEBAF hand book in the locked folders , likely a duplicate of the one that I had put in that folder that I got from Bridget Paul years ago

The folder I tried to access is the original CEBAF (1.04.xx,  you can change the name if you like , I assume the WBS today did not exists at that time

In the event you are out again in future I am assuming you would want a back up person (perhaps Megan? Or if you want me as a back up that is fine also )

I have the original books still , please let me know if you want them – I assumed that once the documents have been up loaded the paper copies could be disposed of

*The original document  of the 1993 procedures contain many pages which were only half copied (most of which were in the first 25% of the document) - this was in the original file and not a partial scan by the Copy Center.  If someone else in SRF has an original copy of this, it would be more useful. 🤷‍♀️

If you would like these files to appear in another collection in Docushare, let me know and I will take care of that.

We are not placing these kinds of things into our new Preservica System just yet, we will likely do a batch ingest of these in the near future, the lab will be notified when this takes place.

It would be great if you could arrange to have them scanned – there are two binders, one labeled Procedures, the other labelled Specifications – I can bring them to you – or just leave them on the corner of my desk

Once they have been put into Docushare , it would be great to have a link that we can include with our other CEBAF documentation

Anne - I don't believe we have these.  We have all of our scanned material in Docushare and these are not part of the collection that I've been able to see.

I can pick them up and have them scanned and then return them.  However you want to proceed is fine.

I came across recently a book with the original SRF Assembly/Inspection procedures from CEBAF in 1992

I was wondering if you could confirm if we have an electronic version of these procedures ?

I have attached a scanned copy of the Index , and a sample of one of the procedures to give you an idea of what they look like

Once again – nothing urgent , however before they get discarded , I thought I should ask

Hello Valerie

Not urgent -  just a question, I have a book with all of the original procedures for CEBAF construction dating from 1992 (came from Brian’s office)

I have been scanning & filing old calibration records from the past , which was when I came across this book

Before I do anything with these procedures can you tell me if we already can access these procedures by other means ?

Attached is the Index and example of the procedures in the book

If you have any comments please let me know – I realize its all quite old , may not be complete – possibly the same procedures were filed in the DOE storage system (Joe Preble had sent all the CEBAF books away a few years ago for storage – I may ask him also
