[Pansophy] New Folders in SRF_Project Area

Naeem,

Sorry for the delay. I was working with the computer center to get these areas updated.

I have put in the 2 directories:
M:\SRF_Projects\AUP_RFD_HOM_Fabrication
M:\SRF_Projects\EIC_RF_Systems

I did not add the numbers and removed spaces as this can be a problem for UNIX directories.
These are NOT open to everyone. The permissions have been set for the group "srfprojects".
The current members are as follows:

srfprojects:*:897:bookwalt,mcewen,castagno,cheng,areilly,ddail,denny,dhakal,dreyfuss,drury,dutton,forehand,
gciovati,geng,georged,grenoble,grigory,auston,haipeng,huit02,jared,jdaven,jhenry,jjcamp,kdavis,king,lpage,
lrichard,lzhao,mdickey,morrone,biron,overtonr,prosper,rarimmer,reece,royb,scott,sjsmith,stirbet,tgoodman,
tmharris,valente,wilcox,jguo,tcoates,tcadmin,ideasadm,fischer,fhumphry,kevins,hallj,ruber,mmorgan,pollard

With Tony's & Anne's permission, I would like to remove those who are no longer in SRF.
This is so we can "sort of" control this area thereby keeping it from getting out of hand.
I will be requesting the remainder of my team to be added so they may assist in managing the area.

Tony / Anne / Naeem / Ed,
What names should be added to this group thus giving them access to write?

Hi Valerie,

Tony and I agreed that the SRF_Projects folder would be a better place to put these as opposed to the M drive in general. My previous request is now void. I am okay with the folder names that Anne suggested. Please make the folders and allow access to the SRFOPS group. I would also like access to the SRF_Projects folder as it seems to be restricted

Thanks,
Naeem

Anne,

The request is for creating folders on the M:drive.

You set up a folder /u/sgroups/SRF_Projects a while back.

If okay with you, I will create the 2 folders for Naeem in that area.

Valerie

Hi Naeem

Valerie & the Pansophy Team are actually who would set this up . We normally use the roll up level of the WBS to name the folder so there is "indexing

So I would propose the following

  * 1.04.06.010: AUP RFD HOM Fabrication (Huque)

  *
1.23.08 EIC RF Systems ( Daly)

Could you confirm that these titles for the folders make sense to everyone

Thanks Anne

Hi Anne,

I would like to set up AUP and EIC project folders in the SRF_Projects section of the M:Drive. I heard from Tony that you set up this area and are the current administrator. These folders will be used to ease the transfer of Level 3 documents between different people. I currently don't have any access to the folder. Could you please let me know what I need to do to get this started.

Thanks,

Naeem
