[Pansophy] Closing travelers

John,
The traveler would need a revision because it though it may not be a change to the technical process, it's a change to the traveler and a good amount of additional code required for a holdpoint.
Closing travelers has always been allowed to happen by anyone unless there is a holdpoint to prevent that. The directions to contact PI may be in the procedure but I know a lot of people don't keep procedures open at all times so I recommend adding that instruction to the traveler as well.

Dear Valerie et al.
Would it be possible to add a final step i.e. hold point to the L2HE-VTA-CAV-VTRF traveler that reads "Fill out the cavity performance traveler and contact PI" without going through the entire revision process? (As this is not really a technical change...)
This is a bit like an additional guard rail at the cliff no one ever fell off, we never had issues with this as all (most) operators would never just go ahead and close travelers, but apparently this is necessary now...
Cheers,
John V

Good morning John,
Filling up the travelers, I do not double check what is written in VTA Procedures.... sure, my mistake and I have to apologize once more. The L2HE-VTA-CAV-VTRF traveler do not mention anywhere to contact the PI with the results. In particular, pct 16 specifies:

It will be great to have this PI requirement included also in the traveler ( not only in the Procedure ) and eventually you may want to consider, in a revised version of this traveler to insert a Hold Point ( as the last step in your traveler ?). It is a pretty convenient tool. See attached docx file as a sample.
For your convenience, see also Allen's Traveler Authorship Training file attached to this email. It will help you to add the last version of Pansophy traveler template to the Office Word.
Take care,
Mircea

Hey Mircea,
Pre-apologies if that wasn't clear from the procedure - but could you please refrain from closing travelers for HE-cavities right after you finished them.
We've sort of established the procedure to double check by the PI (or someone else) before we finalize everything.
The procedure actually mentions to:

Which might be a bit ambiguous, again apologies for that.
Cheers,
John V
