[Pansophy] Parts to be Added to PRIMeS

Hi Naeem,

Having looked into these parts a little more, it appears that these parts never came through Inventory.  I found that the serial numbers are in the system by request EMAIL FROM NAEEM 12/08/2022 to be manually entered into the database.

Please note that PRIMeS is the primary point of data entry for serial numbers.  Email requests to Pansophy is mainly for parts that are from refurbishment cryomodules (these parts usually do not come through inventory due to RadCon tags).

Regardless, we will not be processing these parts at this time, because the parts are not here.

Hi Mike,

We don't necessarily have to use the vendor name, just something to signify that the parts are no longer physically at JLab. What is the method for showing that in PRIMeS? We could mark the location as just "shipping and receiving" if that works.

The parts were brazed in-house so the they still need to get into primes in order to have the serial numbers available for travelers. That is independent of the location.

No.  When the parts are received from the vendor, we will check them in.  Vendors are not a storage locations under our custodianship.

Serial Numbers: 03, 04, 05

Location: American Testing Services



The part was created when two other issued parts were brazed together. Pansophy has already added the serial numbers to their database, so it shows up in the traveler. Please let me know if you have any questions.
