[Pansophy] FW: FW: C75-RI-010 process traveler Question

Hi Pansophy Team

FYI - here is an example of where we had trouble tracing a cavity after its name was changed from NB3SN-02 (as it turns out) to C75-10 , it seems like the tracing was all done verbally or in people's memory .

The lists Mike sent are good for history of each SN individually, but from what I could tell did not directly confirm the name change

You might want to put this on your "to-Do" list a more formal mechanism to check where parts had more than one SN in the past. This came up when Christiana noticed that C75-010 appeared to have skipped CMM. As it turns out we think the CMM was done on the previous SN for Nb3SN . We will open the traveler for C75-10 and add a note to refer the Nb3SN -02 traveler for CMM data based on the emails below so the records are complete for C75-10

It was named as 5C75-RI-NbSn02 before it went to C75 project as C75-RI-10.

Best,
Uttar

Thanks Christiana

We will look for the last NB3 SN # 2 CMM , if it looks to have been done recently then we can add a note to the C75-10 Travelers with instructions to reference NB3SN 2

Hi Anne,

In my notes from Jan. 9, 2023 I show NbSn02 being given back to the C75 project as C75-RI-010. All of that was verbal during the morning meeting.

Christiana

Hi Uttar

Could you confirm that C75-10 and RI-NBSN2 are the same cavity (for certain)

Thanks Anne

Hi Anne,

Attached are the results of a global search for 5C75-RI-010. PRIMeS records show that it was received on 22-May-19 and delivered to RM 1012 - RF Tuning on the same day.

I have also attached a combined search for -RI-010 & -RI-NBSN2. These serial numbers show up in C75, ER5C, & NB3SN projects.

Subject: [Pansophy] FW: C75-RI-010 process traveler Question

Hello Pansophy Team

We have recently noticed there appears to be no CMM data for C75-RI-10 (see screen shot from Christiana) , however then realized that this cavity had previously a different SN (Nb3SN) , so likely the CMM data would be under its previous SN

Gigi suggested I check which cavity went into the NB3SN Pair - and by process of elimination should then be able to deduce the Previous SN for C75-RI-10 (the cavity that did not go into the pair)

I did this, and it turns out that in the Pair is using C75-RI-NBSN1, By process of elimination this would indicate that C75-RI10 would must have been previously called C75-RI-NBSN2

Our question is can Pansophy link the CMM data from the C75-RI-NB3SN2 to C75-RI-10 ? We would like to avoid having to redo the CMM only because the serial number was changed

(C75-RI10 is of interest because the performance was extremely good, as was reported in the 8:30 meeting today )

Thanks for your help

Anne

PS Screen shot for the Nb3SN Pair is below
