Hearing no objections so far, I have put 4 procedures in the Ready for Approvals folder.
Allen, Please route these for approval.
- PLACLN-PR-CAV-CCAL: Plasma Processing Cable Calibrations
- PLACLN-PR-NA-CAL: Calibrating the Network Analyzer
- PLACLN-PR-CART-TANK: Replacing a Tank in the Gas Cart
- PLACLN-PR-CM-MNFLD: Plasma Processing Cart Manifolds
The WCD Register status has been updated accordingly. I will work on final checks of the other procedures I proposed are ready for approval as-is and will update you when they have been uploaded to the Ready for Approvals folder.

Subject: RE: PLACLN Project
The table below is the list of documents for plasma processing during SAD23. I have added a Proposed Path Forward column based on the justification in the Risk, Readiness, and Risk/Readiness Justification columns. Given the first-time nature of plasma processing in CEBAF, there will likely be revisions after the SAD to several of these documents to incorporate lessons learned. However, several are routine enough, are low risk, and/or are in the best state that I can make at this time.
Based on this, I propose that one of the procedures (PLACLN-PR-CAV-PHASE) and the checklist (PLACLN-FM-CM-LIST) be fully reviewed, commented on, and corrected as needed at this time. The remainder of the procedures I propose can be routed for signature as-is (except for PLACLN-PR-CAV-MODE), with the understanding that notes will be taken during the work in CEBAF and revisions will be made prior to the next SAD. The only traveler for this project has already been approved.
If there are any objections or suggestions to this proposal, please let me know today. If any other reviewers are needed to these documents, please also let me know today so that I can add them to the document prior to it being routed for signature.

Some of the detailed procedures need work, mostly it is on me. It is mostly documenting things that Tiffany and I do every day.
They are all in docushare at the following location
https://jlabdoc.jlab.org/docushare/dsweb/View/Collection-51333
The traveler is ready to go.

Tiffany and Tom,
I was wondering if you could give a status update on the PLACLN project. Are the travelers and procedures ready for use, or is there still work to be done? With the SAD already started, we want to be son the same page as you for the project’s readiness.
Allen
