Dear Pansophy team

Could you please update the permissions In Docushare to align to the interim changes described below

In particular I will need permissions for NCR, and CAPA , in order to update Procedures, registers and records where needed

For now it would likely be best to leave the permissions for Jacob unchanged until such time as there is a permanent replacement - we may need his help from time to time

Subject: Transitions - SRFOPS Quality

Dear Process Owners & Work Center Leads,
As you may know Jacob Harris has accepted a new position here at JLAB, reporting to Allison Lung. He will continue to remain involved in activities associated with our pending ISO certification, however the balance of his responsibilities will be handed off by April 30, 2023.
We continue to actively search for a replacement Quality Engineer. In the meantime, here are a few changes for you to be aware of.

·         Valerie Bookwalter will become the new Process Owner for Documentation. This change will be permanent, procedures are already being routed for approval that will reflect this change. Please continue to support Valerie and her team through this transition - and thank you Valerie for taking on this new challenge!


Other interim changes to responsibilities in our QMS to bridge until our new Quality Engineer is hired as follows. These interim actions will be effective Monday, May 1st.

·         Ashley Mitchell will be the interim process owner for Internal Audit. Please continue to support Ashley in this very important process - Special Thanks to Ashley for agreeing to take this on!

·         In the interim, Project Coordinators will manage project related topics. Jacob will be organizing a meeting to review how to access reports in Pansophy for the Project Coordinators. Anne will support where needed.

o   Data deliverables prior to shipping.

§  Acceptance Criteria Reports

§  Pressure System Forms

§  Other data, e.g. sensors, ASME Report, alignment data...etc.

o   Final shipping documents review meetings for SNSPPU and L2HE,

o   Meeting reports for NCRs, Travelers, and project-specific CAPAs.

·         All other activities will transfer to Anne until such time as new Quality Engineer is hired.

o   Process Owner for CAPA and NCRs

o   Monthly Quality Board or Quality Review Meeting

o   Management Review+


Special thanks to Jacob during these last 3 years, we have made great progress toward our goal of ISO Certification !
