[Pansophy] C100R DS Windows (Traveler ID: C100R-INSP-DSRF)

Hi Earl,

Unfortunately, the FLG0037-xxx is a legacy format from a long time ago. I have been working to remove this from the serial number field, but the FLG0037- legacy portion needs to stay in place for traceability. Moving forward with new parts and serial numbers, only the serial number portion will be entered into the SN field.

Mike/Pansophy,
I sent the email out to ensure that the two separate parts are handled differently. If you looked in the dropdown for the previous travelers, you will see "FLG0037-242" as the 1st traveler created. I would assume that was done by INVENTORY or PANSOPHY.

Some standardization might fix this in the future.

Earl

Hi all,

Mike,

That's correct, JL0120517 is the full drawing number for the modified window flanges and I agree, we should add MWFSN into pansophy to depict the modified window flange versus the un-modified flanges. Is this something we can add without a Rev?

Serial numbers 017-037 were received fairly recently (PO 22-P0923-0) and have been in the Furnace Room awaiting incoming inspection.

Greg

Hi All,

Is the full drawing number for an FLG0517, JL0120517? An acronym was not provided/requested for this part. To ensure that these serial numbers are not doubled up with DSRFSN (CRM1207075-0037), from the C100 project, I would suggest MWFSN (Modified Window Flange, per the drawing title).

Where did the -017 thru -037 serial numbers come from? I have 001 - 016 in the system already.

As for junking up the serial number field with part information, I would prefer to only have the serial number there. Confusion can be avoided by using separate acronyms to identify the parts.

I am open for discussion, but understand that these are two different parts and should be handled differently.

Hi Mike.

Could you please add the following SNs to the C100R-INSP-DSRF traveler; SNs FLG0517-017 thru FLG0517-037? This batch is being inspected at the moment.

Also, is it possible to change SNs 254 thru 269 to FLG0037-254 thru FLG0037-269 in the SN drop down. These travelers are still open.

Scott, Greg and I believe that the SNs should have the "0037" or "0517" designation to minimize any confusion looking at the travelers. The first 5 traveler SNs have the FLG0037-xxx layout.

Regards,

Earl
