[Pansophy] Updates to C75 Pair CMM/Inspection Traveler needed

Hi Anne,
I would suggest Aaron or Earl be listed as Author, with the other serving as Reviewer 1 in their capacity as SME, yourself as Reviewer 2/WCL, and Tony as the final signatory.
Those 4 signatures should cover the requirement for the new protocols, though I would suggest the traveler be circulated among all listed parties (Especially Danny and John) for comment prior to uploading to Docushare/Pansophy. As the "Customer" they have a vested interest in ensuring the traveler collects the data they require and should have input in its creation, but I believe Aaron and Earl serve as SME based on knowledge of the process and experience with the equipment.
For the remaining fields, I believe the existing NCR Dispositioners (Danny/John/Gigi) are accurate, though I would update the NCR Informative to be yourself, Kirk and Tony.
Hope that helps, and please let me know if I can answer anything else,
Thanks,
-Matt

Subject: Updates to C75 Pair CMM/Inspection Traveler needed
Hi Matt
I address this note to you since you are the Project Coordinator for C75. I understand you are reviewing the Traveler "Master List" .
We believe some changes/updates will be needed to the CMM/Inspection traveler for C75 , so under the new rules for authors/reviewers need to know how you want to proceed
Background : In the past we have checked C75 Pairs on CMM1 , where two set ups were needed because the machine was under sized for the job. This week Earl Mosby is programing CMM2 - a much larger machine where only one set up will be needed. We could imagine in future we would mainly use CMM2 for C75 Pairs, although if a large job is on CMM2 (like the 80- inch EIC cavity ), we may have reasons to use CMM1 for Pairs still in future , so will want to keep both machines with full capability to do pairs . At the end of the day, regardless of which machine is used, the output measurements will be the same for the end user
So - my question is who should author, review and approve under the new Protocols ? The experts on the CMM program, are Aaron & Earl (both should at least review the traveler) , the end "customer" likely is John Fischer and Danny . I am the WC Lead, and Tony is the Dept. manager
So I am thinking Aaron and Earl should be author and first reviewer, as they will have the most input ?
I understand from Tiffany it is possible to CC others for information- so am thinking definitely John Fischer needs to be on distribution so he is aware of the changes and can comment , perhaps Danny & others as well ?
Under the new protocol my understand is that the WC Lead (me) and Dept. Manager need to approve as well - Unfortunately there are only 4 signatures allowed -
I expect we will want to start changes after the Thanksgiving break while they are still fresh in everyone's mind , so could you let us know how we should proceed
Thanks Anne
