[Pansophy] Record of Decision on delegating signature authority

Hello,

Please consider this email, sent on August 22, 2025, a Record of Decision for temporarily delegating signature authority within SRF Operations.

Since no designee was formally named and in order to prevent further delays in the document approval process waiting on their return while the employees are on leave and unable to access Docushare, a decision has been made to allow for a temporary delegation of signature authority to the employee's supervisor.  I have consulted with Human Resources, J-Docs, and the Admin Manual and found no formal procedure for this process.

In Justin Kent's absence, his supervisor, Kirk Davis, may sign on his behalf until he returns (anticipated to be on Monday, September 15th, 2025).
In Peter Owen's absence, his supervisor, Kirk Davis, may sign on his behalf until he returns (anticipated to be on Friday, August 29th, 2025).

Kirk will be responsible for informing Justin and Peter and any impacted users of the document(s) he signs.

A copy of this email should be attached to any document utilizing the delegated signature authority.
