Hi Allen,

I thought I had the updated template, but thanks for correcting it. I have checked and modified the files you sent. They look good now.

When uploading new versions to the "Ready for Approvals" folder, I was able to do so for 3 of the files, but the "AUPCAV-PR-TUNE-RFIN-BAREC" file (see attached) is not there anymore. Should I upload it again altogether or what's the best course of action?

Finally, regarding the traveler should reference it's respective procedure indeed. I guess the best would be to have the procedures in place to be able to link them in the travelers properly.

Thank you and happy holidays!

Roland and Alex,

After routing one of the documents, I had to pull it and send it back to you. I did not realize that they were in older templates until after I sent one out for approvals. they've been updated and attached to this email for your review. If they look good, put them in ready for approvals by uploading a new version over the old ones (using the three dots on the right). I've attached links for the procedure template and the instructions for attaching the traveler template to microsoft word (it starts on page 5).

Traveler Template: https://pansophy.jlab.org/pansophy/Documents/TravelerAuthorship2023PDF.pdf
  *
Procedure Template: https://jlabdoc.jlab.org/docushare/dsweb/View/Collection-59071

Some other notes

  *
There were a couple areas in the procedures that I wasn't sure of and highlighted. Please review those areas especially.
  *
The travelers lack references, which we are now requiring them to have. Based on the IDs, I assume the procedures are meant to go into the travelers once they're approved, is that correct? If that's the case, I'll route them side by side and hold the traveler until the respective procedure is ready.
  *
A reminder that traveler fields are meant to be descriptive so they make sense to a dataminer or reviewer. This includes sequential field names.
     *
AUPCAV-TUNE-CAV-RFIN-BAREC is an R2 so I can't change the fields in that one, but I have revised the DRSDC fields
  *
If you write a new revision or base a document on another, please make sure you grab from the latest version. After a document goes live I put the approved version in the project's approved folder in DocuShare. In the case of AUPCAV travelers, that would be here<https://jlabdoc.jlab.org/docushare/dsweb/View/Collection-57646>.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out.

Allen

Alex,

You're remembering correctly. We don't increase a documents revision number until after it's gone live. Since these are still in ready for approvals, it should be an R1. I'll adjust accordingly and put it out for approvals.

Hi Allen,

Thank you for looking into this. There is an R1, I think the corrections we did (what I called R2) eventually you mentioned that they were not enough to make a new revision. But to be honest I may be misremembering:

[cid:8adfa247-52bf-4979-a7c0-75e24b10e9b5]

I have no preference on it being R1 or R2. I'd relying on you to suggest what is the best way to have them named.

Very much appreciated!

Roland and Alex,

I was reviewing AUPCAV-PR-TUNE-CAV-RFIN-BAREC and it says it's an R3. But when I go to look in DocuShare, there isn't an R1 or R2. Is there something I'm missing? If not, I'll revert back to R1.
