Subject: Information on system coding and instructions/training for DCG Repo

SRF OPS QMS Processes call out the DCG Repo as the site for all drawings, SOWs, SPECs, and external documents/drawings. We no longer house "copies" of documents found in the DCG as this can lead to incorrect information and/or versions of documents being utilized in SRF Operations. As such, we now recommend links to DCG be utilize wherever possible.

I would like to understand a little bit about the coding behind the DCG like: does it utilize DocuShare or another EDMS system? Does it use the file servers? Does it use a database to house documents?

Additionally, people within SRFOPS have need of understanding how to use for uploading documents as well as how to FIND documents once they are uploaded and approved.

Do you have someone who can meet with me to answer these questions?

Thank you for your assistance.
