Dear PEPPo Collaborator:

I apologize for the short notice, but because both Eric and I have
conflicts this morning we have decided to postpone our weekly status
meeting until next Wednesday, July 13th. We realize work is steadily
moving forward so if you have a noteworthy result or issue to be
addressed before next week then please bring it up.

In the meantime, for those of you who may not have received yesterday's
e-mail, we successfully met the submission deadline for PAC38. We will
defend that proposal during the week of August 22nd. Also, good
progress has been made re-assembling the Compton polarimeter detector
assembly at the injector, installing the magnet power supplies and
control hardware (DAC/ADC/DIO) in the service building and the cable
pull is planned for this morning. Final drawings of all elements up to
the end of the capture solenoid are nearly ready for sign-off. The
spectrometer vacuum chamber continues to be detailed, however, should be
ready for release to fabricate in the next 1-2 weeks.

The primary outstanding issue is the capture solenoid exhibited a ground
leakage fault during testing above 200A; this means a short to ground.
The coil will be removed, re-insulated and hipotted before testing
continues.

-Joe
