Dear all,
Fortunately, the beam size on the second target region is somewhat big due
to big dispersions (~ 1 m) after
the spectrometer.
Full width of electron beam is about 6 mm, and its rms beamsize is about 1
mm.
If we operate in the pulsed mode with a lower current (~ 10 nA), it will be
safe.
But we need its detailed review against any accident.
I attached the electron beam profile on the second target in this e-mail.
