[PEPPo] PEPPo UPDATE + Weekly Status Meeting Cancelled

Dear PEPPo Collaborator:

I apologize for this late notice - I forgot today was Tuesday already - 
but, today's weekly PEPPo meeting is cancelled.  I've got to attend to 
PEPPo and start up activities this AM.  Both Eric and Erica should 
return to US ~today, and Jean-Francois will be here next week.  Let's 
plan for a meeting next week to review the overall status of the 
installation; we'll have a better idea of schedule next week too.

In the meantime...

1. Spectrometer vacuum chamber job is critical path item for Regions 
2/3; it is due sometime late next week.
2. Faraday cup brazement completed, waiting on ceramic feedthru to 
complete assembly
3. Buildup of viewers progressing; waiting on new springs to get full 
retraction stroke
4. Both region 3 crosses in house
5. Region 3 steering coil fixture rec'd; I've wound 2 of the 8 coils
6. Region 3 solenoid nipple rec'd
7. Jaw/actuator couplings fabricated
8. Target chamber support bracket rec'd
9. Final support plates for Regions 2 & 3 due on Friday
10. Magnet high current power supply wiring in ISB nearly completed
11. Magnet high current power supply control box progressing; ready for 
test in 1-2 weeks
12. Vendor for thin and thick W foils identified
13. Cables/connectors for fiber array detector specified

What I foresee for next week...

1. (Tunnel) Complete Region 1 vacuum hookup
2. (Tunnel) Complete Region 1 2A alignment (next to final)
3. (Lab) Support/receive spectrometer chamber; begin assembly of Region 2
4. (Lab) Region 3 building should be able to proceed
5. (Tunnel) Final cabling + lead hut build + jack load test + alignment 
of polarimeter
6. (Beam) Recommissioning of 5 MeV dipole
7. (Controls) Hookup of Region 1 viewer + ion pump + 6 magnet supplies
