[PEPPo] DR. Jonathan DUMAS

Dear All,

Last Thursday in Grenoble, Jonathan Dumas successfully passed his PhD 
dissertation defense for his work on the conceptual design of the PEPPo 
experiment, entitled "Feasibility Studies of a Polarized Positron Source 
based on the Bremsstrahlung of Polarized Electrons".  On behalf of the 
many people he worked with at LPSC, JLAB, and in the PEPPo 
collaboration, I would like to congratulate Jonathan and recognize the 
significant contribution he has made developing the concept toward reality.

I would also like to thank Hari Areti, Arne Freyberger, Andrew Hutton 
and Matt Poelker for their sustained support, committee participation 
and formal reviews of Jonathan's work over the last four years.

The final version of Jonathan's thesis will be posted to the PEPPo wiki 
and submitted to the JLAB document database shortly.
