[PEPPo] [Fwd: Beam Studies for Next Thursday]

Dear PEPPo Collaborator,

Although subject to change we should plan for ~8 hours of beam studies
this Thursday beginning sometime shortly after ~9am.

*Sue *- please let me know if you would like an iteration of working on
the PEPPo collimator software. if yes, we just need to coordinate a
reasonable time slot because other beam tests depend upon "using as-is"
the collimators, at least to retract them out of the way.

*Scott *- if you find yourself ready this week to implement any of the
magnet wrappers this could be coordinated; if not, I will lobby for time
~next week.

*Erica/Riad/Eric* - we should discuss by Wed the daq status and agree on
the sequence of tests; ideally we put the daq through as many conditions
as possible, and measure at compton at least pita induced charge
asymmetry, maybe a physics related asymmetry; we can collect background
data too

*myself *- i will focus on testing various run conditions that help us
prepare for experiment: higher beam current on target foil, changing
beam energy, understanding position of spectrometer viewer

-Joe

Expect to hear about a possible change to the schedule that will impact
the pass configuration after the Energy change on Thursday.
Specifically, the C100 folks should prepare for high current 3-pass
running to Hall-C from April 20th to April 26ish. This beam loading
environment was to occur during the last six days of the run, but
Physics is considering moving it up. This news might alter the
proposed Beam studies plan below. The number of hours in the Beam
Studies bank is 19.
