Dear PEPPo Colleagues,

The e+/e- ILC organization maintains a number of accelerator R&D working groups.   JLab leadership supports our involvement in this HEP related project, mainly in SRF and high power dumps, and I participate in the sources (e- and e+) working group #2.

One role I have is to look for opportunities for collaborative research between North America and the European and Asian labs.   JLab has been an e- partner for a long time, some of you know we built two guns for the ILC (one even used at CEBAF!).  As we grow our own e+ R&D we become more relevant in this area as well.

At our next meeting Monday at 9am EDT there will be a presentation on the Super KEK-B e+ source. If you are available, this is a good way to learn how other e+ machines are built and operated.   The time/zoom info is shown below.
