Dear Ce+BAF colleagues,

We accomplished our FY23 goal, developing a concept that demonstrates a possible start-to-end.   Tomorrow, let's discuss our FY24 goal, evolving S2E concepts into realistic designs, with practical considerations.

What comes to mind?

  *   150 MeV polarized ~mA e- linac
  *   integrated design for100 kW target, absorbers, solenoid and vacuum system
  *   beam power and radiation management
  *   generation and transport of large emittance e- beams
